(https://binhampc.norfolkparishes.gov.uk) Chair’s Statement On behalf of Binham Parish Council and our residents, and like many others in the nation, we are deeply saddened by the news of the Her Majesty the Queen’s passing. Her reign has been steadfast in every sense, she was remarkable in her devotion and selfless approach to serving the people of the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth. We will remember her example for many years to come with respect and affection. We send our deepest sympathy to King Charles III, The Queen Consort and all the Royal family at this very sad time. Elizabeth S Brady Chair Binham Parish Council The Union flag will fly at half- mast on the Binham Memorial Hall flagpole until 08.00 hours the morning after her funeral. There will be an exception associated with proclamation of King Charles III on Saturday 10th September, in that it will fly from the mast head from 11.00 until Sunday 16.30. A special Commemorative Service marking the death of Her Majesty The Queen will take place in the Priory Church of St Mary and the Holy Cross on Sunday September 11th at 11.00am. For those wishing to pay their respects, a book of condolences will be available in the church where you might also like to light a candle or say a prayer during the period of national mourning. North Norfolk District Council on their website have provided access to books of condolence [email protected]. For those wishing to leave floral tributes can do so at the foot of the Binham Village sign on the lower village green. Please remove any cellophane packaging prior to placing your tribute. Binham Parish Council meeting scheduled for 12th September at 19.30 is postponed. A new date will be advised in due course. Comments are closed.
