On Friday November 10th, the Hall is delighted to host an evening of music and comedy. Norfolk's funniest accordionist, Nigel Boy Syer (who is celebrating his 30th season at the Gorleston Pavilion Theatre) will be there with a show filled with Norfolk songs and stories. He will be joined by Alex Mallett - as seen on X Factor. You can just sit and enjoy his amazing vocals or dance the night away!
Doors open at 7pm, the show starts at 8pm. Tickets are £12 either on the door or from Liz 07435 788221 or [email protected] If you've never heard Barbar Gough sing or heard the Chris Cooper Trio play wonderful music, then you must come and see their band Barbar and the Black Sheep on October 6th. They are hugely talented and perform across the county with a delicious mix of smooth jazz and hot tunes that will keep your toes tapping and send you off into the night humming those oh-so-familiar classic songs with an added soupcon of new ones. We are so pleased that they are coming to the Hall.
7pm for 7.30pm. Tickets £10 on the door. The show starts tomorrow, September 9th, with many displays and village groups to talk to, refreshments and a photographic exhibition of Binham past and present. On Sunday 10th, we add the traditional village show classes of produce - fruit, veg, cookery, crafts, preserves and a special section for children. The list of classes is a couple of entries below this one. Duncan Baker MP is going to judge.
The show is open on both days from 10am-4pm. Come along! There will be many displays from village groups (the Friends of Binham Priory, the Parish Council, the Parochial Church Council for example) so come and meet us all to discover all things Binham. The photo exhibition will be in the committee room. The Show Classes for Sunday are all on the next entry below this one and our local MP, Duncan Baker, is going to be the judge!
