With apologies but the coronavirus means that we now have to close the childrens' play area and all the equipment and the playing field for the foreseeable future.
Please note that there is now a designated coronovirus information page on the website between the 'Home' and the 'About Binham' on the main task bar. This is will be updated as often as we can manage with information from the Parish Council and from the Government. It has useful numbers on it, it has links to the government website. Let us know if you need anything more.

For the foreseeable future, the Hall will remain closed and all regular activities are stopped. Please follow the government guidelines at all times - they are being updated regularly - in order to reduce and contain the spread of the virus. The most important messages are from the government (www.gov.uk/coronavirus) and supported by the NNDC (www.north-norfolk.gov.uk). The Parish Council will endeavour to keep the village up to date by way of placing the most important information on the bus shelter and Westgate and Priory Crescent notice boards. The following people have agreed to be contactable and help with picking up urgent supplies and prescriptions, or shopping, be available for a chat or simply posting your mail : Mrs Liz Brown 01328 830519 or [email protected] Mrs Jan Hewitt 01328 830652 Mrs Liz Brady 01328 830830 or 07973 820632 or [email protected] We have decided to bite the bullet early and postpone the Hall AGM and parish meeting on April 21st.

The Binham Village Memorial Hall annual meeting is to be held on
Tuesday 21st April at 7pm in the Hall. All Binham parishioners are welcome to attend. The Keeper of the Diary, Liz Brown, has just sent me a lovely review from a couple who recently got married. Beautifully simple, it says it all :
Thank you so much once again for allowing us to use the hall. It was a fantastic space to hold our reception at and we don’t think we could have found anything nicer. |
