Their photos are proudly displayed in the Hall and the original Hall was acquired and dedicated as a memorial to the fallen - hence it's name. With Remembrance Sunday falling on the Centenary of the Armistice, the Hall is hosting a particularly poignant tribute after the service in the Priory. Please come along.
Very sadly we have had to cancel the cookery demonstration but it will go ahead in 2019. Keep your eyes peeled!
For all things sparkling and twinkling, come and join us for this year's Christmas Fair! There will be 20 tables offering a wide range of goods from local arts and crafts to cakes, books and plants. Refreshments will be available including mulled apple juice, a particular favourite last year. There will be special activities for children who will be pleased to hear that Santa has agreed to make a special early visit with presents! All proceeds to the Priory. The fun starts at 9.30am and continues until 2pm.
The 100th Anniversary of the Armistice is on Sunday November 11th. The service at the Priory is at 10.45am with a minute's silence at 11am to remember all those who never returned, including the 12 men of Binham and will be followed by refreshments at the Hall. We have a wonderful sale of art by the Binham Art Group in aid of Help For Heroes. There will be an exhibition of letters and memorabilia curated by Binham History Group and the Youth Group are making a poppy display. At 3pm there will be a dedication of a wooden seat in memory of the Binham men who didn't come home. It promises to be a special and poignant day.
