The show starts tomorrow, September 9th, with many displays and village groups to talk to, refreshments and a photographic exhibition of Binham past and present. On Sunday 10th, we add the traditional village show classes of produce - fruit, veg, cookery, crafts, preserves and a special section for children. There will be many displays from village groups (the Friends of Binham Priory, the Parish Council, the Parochial Church Council for example) so come and meet us all to discover all things Binham. Full fibre broadband has arrived in Cockthorpe!
If you want to have it, then you have to ask for it. Go to www.openreach.com/fibre-broadband/ which will take you to a postcode checker box. Fill in your postcode, press check availability and then another page comes up where you chose your address from a drop down menu and click on it and it will tell you what is available and you can register your interest. You will have to have an internet provider who can support full fibre but the openreach website (and your provider) will be able to help you with that. How marvellous - we are all reaching the 21st Century! After last year's success, we are hoping to organise another Yards Sale on Sunday 30th July.
If you're interested in taking part, it will be £10 to enter. We need to know numbers of interested people by June 29th so please call Liz on 830519 or Jan on 860652 so we can make sure it's a worthwhile event. |
